  1. Recurso de dados: PELD - ELPA | Dynamics of Submerged Aquatic Vegetation in the Patos Lagoon estuary

The monitoring study aims to investigate long term changes in Submerged Aquatic Vegetation (SAV) abundance and composition of the Patos Lagoon estuary, and their possible relationship with regional climate and hydrology. By providing a 20 year long time series of Ruppia maritima habitats and attached macroalgae, the temporal series are providing field basis and evidences to study the consequences of climate variability and climate changes in these communities.

  2. Recurso de dados: PELD - ELPA | Ecology of the pink-shrimp Penaeus paulensis in Patos Lagoon estuary

Juveniles of pink-shrimp Penaeus paulensis are monthly sampled since 1996 at six stations in the Patos Lagoon estuary and two sites in the marine area surrounding the estuarine mouth. The catch per unit effort (CPUE) is estimated in weight and numbers...

  3. Recurso de dados: PELD - ELPA | Effect of short-term meteorological disturbance on submergem aquatic vegetation and associated fauna

This dataset has environmental and ecological data from submerged aquatic vegetation and associated benthic macrofauna, in Justino Bay (Patos Lagoon Estuary – BR) before and after four meteorological shot-term disturbances, during march/2019, may/2019, august/2019 and november/2019...

  4. Recurso de dados: PELD - ELPA | Interannual variability of ichthyoplankton diversity in the Patos Lagoon estuary Southern Brazil

This sub-project aims to study the interannual variability of long term disturbance dynamics of recruitment and of Ichthyoplankton diversity in the estuary of the Patos Lagoon (PLE).

  5. Recurso de dados: PELD - ELPA | Species composition and abundance patterns of fish assemblages at shallow waters of Patos Lagoon estuary

Species composition, size structure and abundance patterns have been monitored throughout standardized monthly collections in shallow waters (< 2m) of Patos Lagoon estuary and adjacent marine sites.

  6. Recurso de dados: PELD - ELPA | Temporal data series of Benthic macrofauna abundance and composition from the Patos Lagoon estuary

Provide a continuous long-term data set, to assess interannual and interdecadal variability of macrozoobenthic assemblages in the estuary of the Patos Lagoon, Southern Brazil.

  7. Recurso de dados: PELD - HCES | Amostragem da Macrofauna bentônica dos habitats costeiros/estuários do Espirito Santo

The PELD (Long-term Program of Ecological Research) Coastal Habitats of Espírito Santo is part of the Brazilian LTER program and started in 2017. It is located on the Eastern Coast of Brazil, and includes coastal ecosystems including estuaries, mangroves, coastal reefs and rodolith beds. This is an innovative project to assess the temporal patterns in multiple coastal ecosystems in the East ern Brazil Marine Ecoregion, where there is a decadal warming trend...
